Vestin Realty Mortgage I Inc. invests in loans secured by commercial real estate through deeds of trust or mortgages. The Company also invests in, acquires, manages or sells real property and acquires entities involved in the ownership or management of commercial real property, throughout the United States, but primarily the western region. It operates through two segments: investments in real estate loans and investments in real property. Its objective is to invest approximately 97% of its assets in real estate loans and real estate investments, while maintaining approximately 3% as a working capital cash reserve. In addition, the Company may invest in real estate loans that require borrowers to maintain interest reserves funded from the principal amount of the loan for a period of time. The Company offers five available real estate loan products, including commercial, construction, acquisition and development, land, and residential. Vestin Mortgage, LLC is the Company's manager.
