Viña Concha y Toro S A : Viña Concha y Toro promotes biodiversity with the program "Hands to the Earth"

The company seeks to protect the native forest and its biodiversity, and, in turn, involve its employees in caring for the environment.

As part of Viña Concha y Toro's Sustainability pillar, various company managers have participated in "Hands to the Earth", an internal program that aims to allow members of the company to experience first-hand the experience of planting native trees on farms in Chile. Viña Concha y Toro currently has 4,200 hectares of protected native forest.

On September 9, members of the Finance Management participated in the program by planting 150 quillay trees in the Quinta Maipo Estate. On Thursday, September 22, the VCT Chile team carried out a day of native forestation in the Ucuquer farm, located in the V Region, where the Sales Force participated by planting 150 quillay trees.

Among other activities framed within the company's sustainability pillar, the "A tree for you" campaign was launched for the second consecutive year, which plants a tree for each worker.

In 2022, the goal was to plant 3,297 trees, which were planted between July and August in the Peumo, Palo Alto and Ucúquer estates, through the "Hands to the Earth" program. During 2021, 5,500 native trees were planted, 60% of which were quillayes.

In addition, the company has set an annual goal of 6,500 trees, which will allow it to reach the year 2025, completing the company's goal of planting 30,000 native trees in Chile.
