The winners and results were recently revealed for the latest version of the 'Global Cabernet Sauvignon Masters 2019', which stands out as an important tasting competition organized by the prestigious British magazine, The Drinks Business. On this occasion, the Gran Reserva Tarapacá Cabernet Sauvignon 2017 was awarded Silver Medal.

Gran Reserva Tarapacá Cabernet Sauvignon 2017 -a 100% Cabernet Sauvignon wine reflecting the finest expression of the Maipo Valley through its sense of origin- stood out among a great number of participants with Silver Medal in the 'Oaked 100% Cabernet Sauvignon' category within the £10 to £15 price segment.

The new version of the 'Global Cabernet Sauvignon Masters' took place on April 17th in the Notting Hill neighborhood of England. During the competition, an important panel of experts, comprised of the Masters of Wine: Susan Hulme, Patrick Schmitt, Jonathan Pedley, Patricia Stefanowicz, David Round and Beverly Tabbron, as well as specialists from the world of wine: Andrea Biccarello and Tobais Gorn, had the opportunity to blind-taste and evaluate over 150 wineries from around the world.

It should be noted that, in the article: 'A Royal Affair', written by the Master of Wine Patrick Schmitt, he emphasizes how 'Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are in a good place' this year, explaining how that this is a result of good practices in the vineyards and wineries by producers, giving origin to structured wines with good concentration.

This is an excellent acknowledgement which demonstrates the outstanding quality in these wines which are supported by a great sense of tradition from a winery with over 140 years of history.
