Vietnam Manufacturing and Export Processing (Holdings) Limited has provided the latest operating update of the production facility of the Group in Nhon Trach Industrial Zone II of Dong Nai Province in Vietnam (the "Vietnam Nhon Trach Production Facility") in view of the recent development of the outbreak of the coronavirus disease COVID-19 (the "COVID-19") in Vietnam. The Vietnam Nhon Trach Production Facility was suspended for a period of 71 days from 22 July 2021 to 30 September 2021. The suspension of operation was however extended due to more stringent COVID-19 containment measures subsequently imposed by the local authority in that region. The Vietnam Nhon Trach Production Facility is subject to a further suspension period of 8 days until 8 October 2021.
