Village Farms International, Inc. reported earnings results for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 31, 2021. For the fourth quarter, the company reported sales was USD 72.81 million compared to USD 47.36 million a year ago. Net income was USD 2.08 million compared to USD 7.02 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.03 compared to USD 0.12 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.03 compared to USD 0.11 a year ago.

The Cannabis Canada segment produces and supplies cannabis products to be sold to other licensed providers and provincial governments across Canada and internationally. The Cannabis United States segment develops and sells CBD-based health and wellness products, including ingestible, edible and topical applications. The Energy segment produces power that it sells per a long-term contract to its customers.
