Vinci SA's subsidiary Vinci Airports has secured seven airport concessions in Brazil, it said late on Wednesday.

"On completion of a call for tenders initiated by ANAC [Agencia Nacional de Aviacao Civil], Vinci Airports was today awarded a 30-year concession for seven airports of the North region of Brazil: Manaus, Porto Velho, Rio Branco, Boa Vista, Cruzeiro do Sul, Tabatinga and Tefe," it said.

According to the French construction and infrastructure company, almost 4.7 million passengers traveled through these airports in 2019, including 3 million at Manaus international airport--the largest concession it won.

Under the deal--the financial details of which weren'tdisclosed--Vinci Airports will manage operations, maintenance and modernization at the airports.
