Vinci SA said Wednesday that a consortium led by its subsidiary Vinci Construction Grands Projets secured a contract for the second works package of the Lyon-Turin rail line.
The French construction and infrastructure company said the contract worth 1.43 billion euros ($1.69 billion) covers the construction of tunnels between Saint-Martin-la-Porte and Modane in France.
The consortium also includes Italian construction company Webuild SpA.
