Vinci SA said Thursday that it has won two contracts for the upgrade of motorways in Queensland, Australia, through its subsidiary Seymour Whyte.

The first contract Vinci won--as part of a 50-50 joint venture with Australia's John Holland--is for the upgrade of Bruce highway in the North of Brisbane and is worth 114 million euros ($127.9 million),Vinci said.

Under the second contract, which is valued at EUR60 million, Vinci's subsidiary will upgrade the section of the M1 Pacific Motorway which goes from Varsity Lakes to Tugun, it said.
