Vinci to Provide Facilities Management Services for UK Ministry of Defence

Vinci SA said Wednesday that its subsidiary Vinci Facilities UK Ltd has won a contract to provide facilities management, grounds maintenance and capital works services for the U.K. Ministry of Defence.

The French construction-and-infrastructure company said the seven-year contract is worth 491 million euros ($595.5 million) for the facility management component and could be supplemented by a EUR850 million works program. It has the option to be extended by three years.

Work will be conducted across 59 sites that comprise 6,200 buildings and infrastructure assets, according to Vinci, sustaining employment for more than 800 people.
