Virbac announces the appointment, on the recommendation of the Nomination and Compensation Committee, of Paul Martingell as Chief Executive Officer effective 1 September, succeeding Habib Ramdani, who has served as interim CEO.

Paul Martingell has over 25 years of extensive international experience, particularly in consumer health, consumer goods, and pharmaceuticals, the animal health group's board of directors said.

For the past eleven years, he has been a member of the executive committee that led the merger of the consumer health businesses of Boehringer Ingelheim and Sanofi. During this time, he has led key regions and served as chief growth officer.
