Stone Harbor Emerging Markets Income Fund announced the declaration of monthly distributions of $0.18 per common share, payable on August 19, 2019, September 26, 2019 and October 31, 2019, respectively to the shareholders of record on August 19, 2019, September 16, 2019 and October 21, 2019, respectively. Ex-distribution dates are August 16, 2019, September 13, 2019 and October 18, 2019, respectively.
Virtus Stone Harbor Emerging Markets Income Fund (the Fund), formerly Stone Harbor Emerging Markets Income Fund, is a non-diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Fund's investment objective is to maximize total return, which consists of income and capital appreciation from investments in emerging markets securities. The Fund may invest at least 80% of its net assets (plus any borrowings made for investment purposes) in emerging markets debt. The Fund invests in various sectors, such as Sovereign Hard Currency, Corporate Hard Currency, Sovereign Local Currency, and Corporate Local Currency. The Fund invests in various geographical locations, including Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, South Africa, Russia, Ivory Coast, Colombia, Indonesia, Ghana, Ecuador, Venezuela, Lebanon, Costa Rica, Nigeria, and Kenya.
