FLORA, Miss.- Gold Tip, an industry leader in carbon arrows and bolts, is celebrating strong finishes at the third leg and finale of the IBO (International Bowhunting Organization) National Triple Crown, held July 8-11 in Nelsonville, Ohio.

Pro staffer Levi Morgan took first place in the PMR class, winning his 10th IBO National Triple Crown Championship. Likewise, staff manager Tim Gillingham took first place in the PSR class and won the Senior Pro Triple Crown. This latest championship gives Gillingham back-to-back IBO Triple Crown titles in both 2020 and 2021. Levi Morgan's wife, Samantha Morgan, also made the podium in the third-place spot for the PRF class.

Throughout the match, Gillingham was using Gold Tip X-Cutter shafts and Premier Plus Bee Stinger™ stabilizers, while Morgan was shooting Gold Tip Triple X Pro shafts.

'It was a battle to the finish with some of the toughest competition in 3-D archery,' Gillingham said. 'After trailing badly following the first event, I put a lot of time and effort into catching back up. The work paid off and I went into the shoot-off with a 14-point lead after being tied at the 25 target point in the event. It was one of the best performances of my career.'

In the PBR class, Gold Tip staffer Jonathan Smith had a come-from-behind win in a tight race for first, while teammate Tim McWilliams took third.

The IBO (International Bowhunting Organization) is headquartered in Ohio and runs the National Triple Crown and World Championship in 3-D archery where all distances are unknown on Rhinehart 3-D targets. Rounds consist of 2 to 20 target rounds and a 5 target shoot off.
