Vivo Energy Kenya the company that distributes and markets Shell-branded fuels and lubricants in the country, has built a new office block for the Dagoretti Police Post. The new office will enhance security services offered by the Police Post to the Dagoretti Market community.

The police post is located behind Shell Dagoretti service station, which is along Kikuyu Road, Kiambu County. Before Vivo Energy Kenya's support, the police post offices were in a dilapidated state that needed intervention. The new office block will house the O.C.S (Officer Commanding the Station) and the Crime office.

Vivo Energy Kenya Managing Director Mr. Peter Murungi accompanied by Shell Dagoretti Retailer, Mr. Nick Ombati graced the handing over of the newly built office block to the Police. Mr. Peter Murungi appreciated the police and their role in creating a secure community that is conducive for businesses to operate.

The police fraternity led by Chief Inspector Macharia, S.O.P Kikuyu Sub County and Chief Inspector Josephat Kimeu, O.C.S Dagoretti Police Post lauded the support by Vivo Energy Kenya.

Chief Inspector Macharia, urged the members of public present to collaborate with the police in making Dagoretti market area a safer community.

The new office block at Dagoretti Police Post, affirms Vivo Energy Kenya's commitment to making a lasting difference in communities where the Company operates.
