Volati has signed an agreement to acquire all shares in Meag Va-system, a leading provider of concrete solutions for water and sewage infrastructure. The acquisition is an add-on acquisition for the S:t Eriks business unit in the Industry business area. The acquisition significantly strengthens S:t Eriks' market position in water and sewage infrastructure and adds both new product ranges and production capacity. Meag Va-system reported sales of approximately SEK 190 million for the last financial year.

The acquisition of Meag Va-system is Volati's seventh acquisition of 2021 and the second add-on acquisition of the year for S:t Eriks. Through the acquisition, S:t Eriks has created a stronger position within infrastructure - an area where Volati sees potential for continued structural growth. The addition of Meag Va-system will increase S:t Eriks' annual sales to approximately SEK 1,390 million.

"Add-on acquisitions for existing companies are an important part of Volati's strategy for creating long-term value growth. They provide an opportunity to complement and strengthen the existing offering, while enabling added value through synergies. S:t Eriks has a clear ambition to be Sweden's best provider of solutions for water and sewage infrastructure. The acquisition makes S:t Eriks a market-leading supplier in its niche, while creating opportunities for significant synergies in areas such as procurement. We are therefore excited at the opportunity to acquire Meag Va-system," says Nicklas Margård, Head of Business Area Industry.

Meag Va-system is an entrepreneurial company with about 90 employees and is headquartered in Västerås. Its offering includes pipelines, wells and pumping stations. The company has a strong market position in Central Sweden and shows good profitability. The company has four production facilities located in Västerås, Hallsberg, Vänersborg and Stora Skedvi.

"I am delighted to be able to welcome Meag Va-system to S:t Eriks. This is a very well-managed company that we know well and complements our water and sewage infrastructure business perfectly. Meag Va-system brings new product ranges to our offering, while its strong position in Central Sweden is a great complement to our already strong position in Southern and Western Sweden. We look forward to continuing to develop Sweden's leading offering in water and sewage infrastructure together," says Tomaz Lewander, CEO of S:t Eriks.

The acquisition has been financed through Volati's existing credit facilities, with immediate access to the shares.
