130 young people start their vocational training at MAN Truck & Bus's German sites - whether in technical and commercial professions or as dual students.
In conversation with MAN apprentices: Arne Puls, Chief Human Resources Officer & Labor Director at MAN Truck & Bus
A total of 130 young people will start vocational training or dual studies at MAN Truck & Bus's major German sites in autumn 2022. In Munich, 64 of them will start, in Nuremberg 36 and in Salzgitter 30. Technical professions such as production mechanics, automotive mechatronics in system and high-voltage technology or electronics for automation technology are represented, as are commercial training courses. These include, for example, the management assistant for digitalisation management or, as part of a dual course of study, prospective industrial engineers or business economists in 'Digital Business Management'.
The job titles show how much the mega-topics of the industry - automation, digitalisation and electrification - have already arrived in vocational training. 'We offer a whole range of new and future-oriented apprenticeships,' says MAN Chief Human Resources Officer Arne Puls. 'Together with the typical apprenticeships at a major commercial vehicle manufacturer, which will continue to be indispensable in the future, this shows how well we are progressing in our transformation. Vocational training or dual studies are an investment in the future, for the young people as well as for us as a company. We are proud that so many talented people want to follow this path together with us again this year.'
