Voltas Limited announced that the Company has received an Order dated July 16, 2024 from the Office of the Joint Commissioner State-Tax, Patliputra Circle, Patna Commercial Taxes Department, Bihar, demanding tax of INR 0.059 million, interest INR 0.035 million and penalty of INR 0.006 million under Section 73 of Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 and Bihar Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 for the financial year 2020-21 for disallowance of input tax credit claimed by the Company.
