(b) On April 30, 2021, Walgreens Boots Alliance, Inc. (the 'Company') announced that Alexander W. Gourlay will cease to serve as the Company's Co-ChiefOperating Officer effective May 17, 2021 (the 'Transition Date'). As of the Transition Date, Mr. Gourlay will become a Senior Advisor to the Company's Chief Executive Officer, to serve through December 31, 2021, at which time he will separate from the Company in order to return to the United Kingdom. As of April 30, 2021, Ornella Barra, the Company's current Co-ChiefOperating Officer, will assume the title of Chief Operating Officer, International, and she will continue to oversee the day-to-dayoperations of the Company's divisions outside of the U.S. and to report directly to the Company's Chief Executive Officer.
