The ground floors are being filled with exciting businesses in the center block that Wallenstam is constructing in the middle of Älta. Two commercial lettings with a combined area of just over 2,000 square meters will constitute the starting shot for more easily accessible commercial activities and services during 2025.

The construction of the block, which is now under development commenced at the end of 2021. Next year, the first residential tenants will be welcomed to newly constructed apartments featuring a leafy courtyard.  

In the development of Älta as a whole, the ambition is to connect the square with existing residential areas and create natural and inviting meeting places based around culture, services and commercial activities. A center environment, which will be outward-looking and accessible, offering a lot more services and life. For Wallenstam, this is work that involves six phases and it will continue for many years.
