Iger, Chairman of the Board of Directors (the "Board") and Executive Chairman of The Walt Disney Company (the "Company"), advised the Board of his decision to resign as a director of the Company effective as of the same time as his departure as Executive Chairman, upon the expiration of the term of his employment agreement on December 31, 2021. A copy of the press release announcing Mr. Iger's resignation from the Board and successor as Chairman of the Board is attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and is incorporated by reference herein.
