Disney Media & Entertainment Distribution today announced plans for exclusive theatrical release windows for the remainder of its 2021 slate of films. The Walt Disney Animation Studios musical Encanto will arrive in theaters on November 24, with a 30-day exclusive theatrical window before coming to Disney+ on December 24, providing subscribers to the streaming service a special opportunity to enjoy the film at home throughout the holidays.
Disney's other scheduled releases will have a minimum 45-day exclusive theatrical release, including:
The Last Duel on October 15, 2021
Ron's Gone Wrong on October 22, 2021
Eternals on November 5, 2021
West Side Story on December 10, 2021
The King's Man on December 22, 2021
'Following the tremendous box office success of our summer films which included five of the top eight domestic releases of the year, we are excited to update our theatrical plans for the remainder of 2021,' said Kareem Daniel, Chairman, Disney Media & Entertainment Distribution. 'As confidence in moviegoing continues to improve, we look forward to entertaining audiences in theaters, while maintaining the flexibility to give our Disney+ subscribers the gift of Encanto this holiday season.'

From 20th Century Studios and visionary filmmaker Ridley Scott comes The Last Duel, a gripping tale of betrayal and vengeance set against the brutality of 14th century France.
20th Century Studios and Locksmith Animation's Ron's Gone Wrong is the story of Barney, a socially awkward middle-schooler and Ron, his new walking, talking, digitally-connected device, which is supposed to be his 'Best Friend out of the Box.' Ron's hilarious malfunctions set against the backdrop of the social media age, launch them into an action-packed journey in which boy and robot come to terms with the wonderful messiness of true friendship.
Marvel Studios' Eternals follows a group of heroes from beyond the stars who had protected the Earth since the dawn of man. When monstrous creatures called the Deviants, long thought lost to history, mysteriously return, the Eternals are forced to reunite in order to defend humanity once again.
In Walt Disney Animation Studios' Encanto, Mirabel-the only ordinary member of her extraordinary family-discovers that the magic surrounding their home is in danger, and she might be her family's last hope.
