Watami Co., Ltd. (TSE:7522) acquired i-NEXT Co., Ltd. from NEXT Co., Ltd. and i-need Co., Ltd. on May 20, 2020. Under the terms, Watami acquired 200 shares in i-NEXT Co., Ltd. representing 100% stake. Both NEXT Co., Ltd. and i-need Co., Ltd. held 50% stakes each in i-NEXT Co., Ltd. prior to the transaction. The impact of this matter on ITbook Holdings' (parent company of the sellers) consolidated business results for the current consolidated fiscal year is immaterial.
