The Wavestone Corporate Foundation is relaunching a call for projects to select associations' projects in favor of underprivileged children. Associations that need support to develop their projects have until September 13 to submit their application online.

Already more than 150 associative projects for disadvantaged children

Since 2009, the Wavestone Corporate Foundation has been supporting projects aimed at helping disadvantaged children, particularly in situations of poverty or extreme deprivation, in France and abroad. It finances the creation and development of programs designed to fight against all forms of poverty, to support the development of preventive actions, and to participate in the elaboration and development of education and health programs.

Under its 2019/20 call for projects campaign, the Foundation had funded 7 new projects by April 2020. Following a new endowment, the Foundation decided this year to fund 8 new projects selected in 2019/20.

In May 2021, the Foundation launched a call for COVID19 emergency projects reserved for its partner associations. Within this framework, 11 emergency projects were selected by the Board of Directors meeting on July 8, 2021.

A new call for projects launched until September 13, 2021

The Foundation is launching a new call for projects for its 2021/22 campaign. Associations wishing to propose a project to the Foundation have until midnight on September 13, 2021 to submit their application on the application platform (in French and English) linked to the Foundation's website: https://projets.fondation-wavestone.com/.

Note tha the Foundation's partner associations that submitted an eligible application during the May 2021 emergency call for projects are not required to reapply.

Associations are strongly advised to verify the compatibility of their projects with the Foundation's principles and activities, as outlined on its website.

The Foundation supports projects of associations that are part of a long-term development logic. It is particularly attentive to the sustainability of the projects and to the principle of empowerment of the beneficiaries. However, each year the Foundation reserves a 'Special' budget for 3 or 4 projects that require more regular funding. These projects are subject to an ad hoc selection by the pre-selection committee.

Associations must be established in France or in a country where Wavestone has an office: Belgium, United States, Hong Kong, Luxembourg, Morocco, United Kingdom and Switzerland.

The applications will be analyzed by a pre-selection committee composed of employees, which will meet between October 2021 and early 2022. The list of applications selected by the Board of Directors will be announced no later than March 2022.
