Announcement regarding Business Alliance between Chukyo Bank and WealthNavi

The Chukyo Bank, Ltd. (Head office: Naka-ku,Nagoya-shi, President: Hideo Kobayashi;

hereinafter, "Chukyo Bank"), and WealthNavi Inc. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative

Director and CEO: Kazuhisa Shibayama; hereinafter, "WealthNavi") announce that the two companies have entered into a business alliance agreement on June 17, 2021, aiming to jointly develop and offer a managed account service with a hybrid of online and face-to-face support. The new managed account service with a hybrid of online and face-to-face advice will be released in this summer at the earliest.

1.Purpose and Overview of the Business Alliance

In the era of "the 100-year life", there has been emerging needs for long-term investment among working families. Through this business alliance, Chukyo Bank and WealthNavi will jointly develop and offer a managed account service with a hybrid of online and face-to-face support for customers of Chukyo Bank, which enables long-term investment with a globally diversified portfolio.

Through this new service, WealthNavi will provide its world-class wealth management algorithm and platform, and bank staff at Chukyo Bank will support customers face-to-face to start and continue long-term investment with a globally diversified portfolio. The new managed account service will be released in this summer at the earliest.

Chukyo Bank and WealthNavi will continue to enhance services in order to satisfy various needs of our local customers.
