WealthNavi Inc. is pleased to announce that WealthNavi Inc. entered into a business alliance agreement with THE TAIKO BANK, LTD. (Head office: Nagaoka-shi, Niigata, President: Yukio Ishida; hereinafter, "TAIKO BANK") on June 1, 2021 for the purpose of jointly developing and offering a managed account service with a hybrid of online and face-to-face support. Announcement regarding Business Alliance between TAIKO BANK and WealthNavi

THE TAIKO BANK, LTD. (Head office: Nagaoka-shi, Niigata;President: Yukio Ishida; hereinafter,

"TAIKO BANK"), and WealthNavi Inc. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director

and CEO: Kazuhisa Shibayama; hereinafter, "WealthNavi") announce that the two companies have entered into a business alliance agreement on June 1, 2021, aiming to jointly develop and offer a managed account service with a hybrid of online and face-to-face support. The new managed account service with a hybrid of online and face-to-face advice will be released in this autumn at the earliest.

1.Purpose and Overview of the Business Alliance

In the era of "the 100-year life", there has been emerging needs for long-term investment among working families. Through this business alliance, TAIKO BANK and WealthNavi will jointly develop and offer a managed account service with a hybrid of online and face-to-face support for customers of TAIKO BANK based in Niigata-prefecture, which enables long-term investment with a globally diversified portfolio.

Through this new service, WealthNavi will provide its world-class wealth management algorithm and platform, and advisors at TAIKO BANK will support customers face-to-face to start and continue long-term investment with a globally diversified portfolio. The new managed account service will be released in this autumn at the earliest.
