On the morning of October 19, Shandong Heavy Industry Group and Shandong University held a strategic cooperation symposium on the University's central campus to talk about comprehensively deepening school-enterprise cooperation. Fan Liming, President of Shandong University, and Tan Xuguang, Chairman of Shandong Heavy Industry Group attended the meeting.

　　Fan Liming hopes that the two parties will integrate strengths, understand each other's needs, and jointly build a larger platform for school-enterprise cooperation, realize order-based training and integrated cooperation, and open a new chapter of strategic cooperation.

　　Tan Xuguang said that there is huge room for cooperation between Shandong Heavy Industry Group and Shandong University. Both parties should build platforms and promote results in terms of scientific and technological innovation, talent training, and achievement transformation. They should be solid in jointly creating the example of Shandong in the demonstration of enterprise-university-research cooperation.
