　　At 5 pm on August 8, Weichai Power and Foton Motor signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement at the Weichai Power headquarters in Weifang, Shandong.

　　Weichai Power and Foton Motor always have a good long-term cooperation basis. According to this cooperation framework agreement, the two sides will give full play to their respective advantages to carry out in-depth cooperation in the field of diesel engines with 2.0L and 2.5L displacement. Through the establishment of a full-chain coordination of R&D, manufacturing, procurement, and market development, theywill work together to build the highest-end manufacturing base in Weifang, Shandong for the small-bore diesel engine industry chain at home and abroad, and provide world-class products and services to global customers.

　　In the past 20 years, Weichai Power and Foton Motor have conducted in-depth cooperation in various fields from heavy truck application only to application of bus and construction machinery, and from engine supply only to the supply of golden powertrain including engines, gearboxes and axles.
