EXCHANGE RATE FOR PAYMENT OF FINAL DIVIDEND

Reference is made to the final results announcement of West China Cement Limited (the ''Company'') dated 18 March 2019 in relation to, among others, declaration of final dividend of RMB0.014 per ordinary share for the year ended 31 December 2018 (the ''Final Dividend''). The Final Dividend was approved by the shareholders at the annual general meeting of the Company held on 17 May 2019.

The Final Dividend will be paid in Hong Kong Dollars on 31 July 2019. Based on the exchange rate of RMB 1: Hong Kong Dollar 1.139, being the median exchange rate of Renminbi to Hong Kong dollars as published by the People's Bank of China prevailing on 27 May 2019, the record date of the Final Dividend, the Company is pleased to announce that the amount of the Final Dividend payable per ordinary share for the year ended 31 December 2018 is HK$0.016.
