Western Metallica Resources Corp. is a Canada-based mineral exploration company. The Company is engaged in the acquisition, exploration, and development of mineral properties in Spain. The Company’s principal asset is its 100% owned Penedela Gold Property in the Navelgas Gold Belt in Asturias, Spain. It also has an interest in two other Spanish gold projects Valledor and Sierra Alta in the Navelgas Gold Belt in Asturias and Nueva Celti project located in Andalucia. The Penedela Gold Project is in the Ibias district, which is located at the southern edge of the Navelgas gold Belt. The Valledor Gold Project is located 9 kilometers (km) from Penedela, which is comprised of approximately 3,500 hectares. The Sierra Alta Project is located in Asturias, enclosed in the Navelgas Gold Belt, which covers approximately 2,500 hectares. It also holds the options to acquire a 100% interest in two copper projects in Peru: Cana Brava, in La Libertad Province, and Turmalina, in Piura Province.
