Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On July 1, 2022, Beverly Babcock was elected to serve as a member of the board of directors of Westinghouse Air Brake Technologies Corporation ("Wabtec"). Ms. Babcock will join the class of directors whose term expires in 2024. Reference is made to the press release filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K, which is incorporated by reference herein.

Ms. Babcock will receive compensation in the same manner as Wabtec's other non-employee directors, as described in Wabtec's definitive proxy statement on Schedule 14A filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on April 5, 2022. Ms. Babcock was also appointed to the Audit, Compensation and Talent Management, and Nominating and Corporate Governance Committees of the Board.
