The 5A Bomb Disposal Suit is a state of the art, up-armoured suit that provides the highest level of protection of any bomb suit currently being manufactured, whilst at the same time, offering maximum comfort and flexibility for the operator. All ballistic inserts used in the 5A EOD Bomb Disposal Suit are made of waterproof-treated Kevlar HT, enclosed in a special water-resistant, ultra-violet membrane. The ballistic inserts are also all tested and evaluated to the full quality assurance standard laid down by the appropriate government organisations.

Suitable for use under the 5A EOD Bomb Disposal Suit is the EOD Cooling Suit. The Cooling Suit is designed to offer a safe and cool environment for individuals who need to maintain a high level of concentration and efficiency in extreme heat. The suit uses iced water to remove body heat produced by strenuous work and is ideal for use in hot environments. It is made from fire-retardant Kermel material and provides protection against extreme heat and flash fire balls. The suits are comprised of a one-piece garment covering the upper body, arms, and legs, as well as a close fitting, open-faced hood, a cooling pump, and pouch, two water bottles, a battery pack and a carrying bag.

Westminster Group have recently fulfilled a contract to supply a South Korean company with a number of these Bomb Disposal and EOD Cooling suits, alongside a range of accessories, including lifting visor systems, helmet cameras and wireless communication systems. These will be used across the country to help with bomb defence and disposal.

Typically, the EOD 5A Bomb Disposal and EOD Cooling Suits are used by specialist bomb disposal personnel, the military, firefighters, and mine workers worldwide.
