Westpac Banking Corporation completed the acquisition of MoneyBrilliant Pty Ltd from AMP Limited, Peter Lalor and management shareholders.

Westpac Banking Corporation (ASX:WBC) agreed to acquire MoneyBrilliant Pty Ltd from AMP Limited (ASX:AMP), Peter Lalor and management shareholders on December 7, 2021. MoneyBrilliant's technology will ultimately be integrated into Westpac's digital banking app. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval and is expected to complete by next month. Dominic Anderson of Allens advised Westpac on this transaction. As on December 10, 2021, AMP Limited sold its stake in MoneyBrilliant Pty Ltd.
