WHITBREAD NAMED 'TOP EMPLOYER'

The Top Employers Institute recognises excellence in the experiences and conditions the best employers create for their people

Whitbread has been confirmed as one of the UK's top places to work.

Global certification company The Top Employers Institute has confirmed Whitbread as a Top Employer, recognition that only goes to those businesses that create excellent working environments.

The accreditation involved a comprehensive and detailed analysis of the people practices across the whole of Whitbread's well-loved hospitality brands including Premier Inn, Beefeater and Brewers Fayre as well as support centre. It covers areas such as talent management, culture and learning and development.

These practices are carefully assessed, validated and benchmarked by the Top Employers Institute.

Top Employers provide benchmarking across these areas, helping businesses understand how they compare to other external organisations, as well as providing invaluable insight into areas where the business is performing well.

Louise Smalley, Group HR Director at Whitbread said: 'Nothing is more important to us than our people and I'm delighted that once again Whitbread has been recognised as a 'Top Employer' by the Top Employers Institute. Although we have a strong track record with this accreditation, receiving it this year means even more given the challenges we've faced together as a result of COVID-19. Accreditation is also great news for our guests, demonstrating to them that we genuinely care about our team members reaching their full potential and consistently delivering great service, quality and value. I am immensely proud to be part of an organisation where we believe that everyone can reach their potential, with no barriers to entry and no limits to ambition.'
