Whitecap Resources Inc. (TSX:WCP) announces a share repurchase program. Under the normal course issuer bid, the company will repurchase up to 58,341,984 common shares, representing 9.42% of its issued share capital. All the shares purchased under the bid will be cancelled.
The bid will be valid for a period of 12 months from the date of commencement. As of May 8, 2022, the company had 619,143,704 outstanding common shares.
