ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) _ WideOpenWest Inc. (WOW) on Friday reported second-quarter net income of $4 million.

The Englewood, Colorado-based company said it had profit of 5 cents per share.

The results did not meet Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 7 cents per share.

The cable TV company posted revenue of $176.1 million in the period, also falling short of Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $177.2 million.

For the current quarter ending in October, WideOpenWest said it expects revenue in the range of $171 million to $175 million.

The company expects full-year revenue in the range of $704 million to $708 million.
