Wirecard AG reported consolidated earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2017. For the quarter, the company's consolidated revenues increased by 31.0% to EUR 274.9 million against EUR 210.5 million a year ago. Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) increased by 31.1% to EUR 81.3 million against EUR 62.0 million a year ago. Earnings after tax increased by 32.5% to EUR 48.5 million against EUR 36.6 million a year ago. The cash flow from operating activities (adjusted) amounted to EUR 64.8 million.

The company expects a successful performance in the 2017 fiscal year and confirms its forecast for earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) of between EUR 382 million and EUR 400 million.
