As of today, WithSecure™ and F-Secure have started separately trading on the Helsinki Stock Exchange following the partial demerger announced earlier this year - a decision intended to create two distinct cyber security companies, both with strong investment opportunities moving forward. The exceptional event was celebrated in a bell-ringing ceremony with the two companies' CEOs, accompanied by the core team that has been working on the demerger process.

The demerger follows the rebranding of F-Secure's corporate cyber security unit, subsequently renamed WithSecure™, in a move that will clarify the structure, management, and financing of the company's operations. It will also allow for investment in specific expertise, technology, and innovation, all of which will better serve the distinct cyber security needs of the corporate cyber security market. From its earlier history as F-Secure's business division, WithSecure™ has already amassed an extensive network of partners, clients, and a wealth of in-house talent and expertise to build on in this new era.

Additionally, the company has decided to take an outcome-based approach to business, emphasizing the impact made for customers and how their problems are solved. Furthermore, in line with the new company name, a new co-security approach will strengthen partnerships by emphasizing working together.
