We ended another quarter successfully, despite the adverse socio-economic context of high inflation and interest rates in Brazil and the world, which have added obstacles to the recovery of several sectors of our economy. We have experienced a challenging scenario for the credit market, an important trigger for the sale of insurance, especially in bancassurance operations, besides the natural difficulties that are also faced by this sector.

Even before this context, we continued growing, diversifying results, and strengthening our technological initiatives and solutions. In this semester, we delivered an 86% growth in gross revenue from our current operations, reaching the level of R$500 million in total revenue, which reaffirms the success of our strategy that is doggedly and enthusiastically pursued by Wizzers.

In this second quarter, our bancassurance operations grew 134.2% year-on-year and 33.8% compared to the first quarter of this year. This is due to the dedication of these Business Units in the performance of our planned strategy and business model, and to their focus on results, which is a fundamental pillar of our culture. During this period, new products were launched in full connection with customer needs, and commercial journeys have been optimized with innovation and technology, paving the way for achieving results.

We have also reinforced our positioning in the sector, continuing the strategy of diversifying and expanding our businesses. We entered into an agreement to create a joint venture with Polishop, marking the Company's entry into the retail segment. We will operate exclusively in the various sales channels of that retailer to boost the result in insurance, with a focus on increasing the degree of customer satisfaction and the profitability of the channels. We are very excited about the prospects that this business opens up for Wiz's strategic matrix.

In the corporate segment, we entered into agreements with important financial institutions in Brazil, which are incessant in the objective of expanding our business. I would like to highlight the partnerships entered into by our subsidiary Wiz Corporate with Banco Voiter and with CASF Corretora do Banco da Amazônia, both focused on providing their customers with specialized service and a more complete portfolio of solutions and products, through the contribution of Wiz expertise. We also entered into an agreement with BB Corretora, which operates exclusively in Banco do Brasil's sales channels, to promote the sale of certain products with a focus on corporate clients within the bank's wholesale segment. Entering into these deals reinforces our great appetite to continue growing and diversifying.

Last July, we celebrated 49 years of history and we are proud to have built a solid Company that is prepared for the future. Today, we have more than 10 business units, and we are the largest Latin- American insurance platform, with more than 2,000 Wizzers, and we are determined to earn a billion reais for the first time, by following our guidance. We believe we are on the right path for this.

shows our Company's resilience and tenacity to face adverse times.

Despite the difficulties that 2022 and 2023 present to the Wiz Group, we are certain that we have become a benchmark for the Brazilian insurance market. We have achieved this position by creating an innovative platform and an operational model of excellence, which make Wiz the natural medium- term winner in the market. With this certainty and objective in mind, we have structured our short- term capitalization model to remain focused on the Company's expansion. Wiz remains strong and focused on reaching the position of main player in Brazil's insurance market.

The main highlights of the period were:

  • R$ 266.9 million in Gross Revenue in 2Q22, being R$208.2 million from current transactions (excpet Rede Caixa), a result 83.9% (+R$ 95.0 million) higher than in 2Q21;
  • R$ 500.9 million in Gross Revenue in 1H22, 1.1% higher than in 1H21 and 54.4% of the Gross Revenue projection floor disclosed for the year of 2022 (R$ 920 million to R$ 1 billion in Gross Revenue of Service Provision);
  • In 2Q22, R$ 107.2 million in Adjusted EBITDA, with a decrease of 2.1% in relation to 2Q21. Adjusted EBITDA
    Margin of 54.3% -6.9p.p. vs. 2Q21
  • Adjusted Net Income of R$ 78.6 million, -7.2%in relation to that held in 2Q21 and Adjusted Net Margin of 39.8%
  • Adjusted cash balance of R$ 218.0 million at the end of 2Q22, an increase of 29.8% compared to 1Q22, as a result of higher operating cash generation in the period;
  • BRB Seguros unit added R$ 66.3 million in Gross Revenue to the consolidated result in the quarter (24.8% of the total Gross Revenue), with emphasis on the Credit Life product, which represented 77.0% of the result;
  • Bmg Corretora unit reached R$ 74.7 million in Gross Revenue, a growth of 25.6% (R$ 15.2 million) vs. 2Q21, now representing 28.0% of the Company's Total Gross
    Revenue;
  • Inter Seguros achieved the milestone of 1 million clients in its portfolio, a growth of 2.0x vs. that of 2Q21. After the change to the presumptive profit regime, the invested company reached a net income of R$ 18.5 million, adding
    R$ 7.4 million to Wiz's result in 1Q22.
