LOVELAND, Ohio (AP) _ Workhorse Group Inc. (WKHS) on Tuesday reported a loss of $22.1 million in its first quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Loveland, Ohio-based company said it had a loss of 15 cents.

The results missed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 12 cents per share.

The truck and drone manufacturer posted revenue of $14,300 in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $14,000.
