Xin Point Holdings Limited announced that since the outbreak of the new coronavirus pneumonia epidemic (the Epidemic), a number of provinces and municipalities in China have activated level I the highest-level response to major public health emergencies and adopted various strict measures to curb the spread of the Epidemic. In addition, provincial governments have issued notices extending the New Year holiday to keep people at home in an effort to contain the spread of the coronavirus. As part of efforts to facilitate the prevention and control of the Epidemic and ensure the health and safety of employees and in compliance with the requirements issued by the Chinese government, the board of directors of the Company (the Board) hereby announces that the Company has decided to suspend operations of factories in China temporarily and intends to resume the operations of factories in China from 10 February 2020. If the suspension needs to be extended in response to the development of the Epidemic and relevant government policies, the Company will make further announcements in due course. The Company's subsidiaries have also issued notices to their customers that there may be delays in the original scheduled shipments. Although such delays are Force majeure events, the Company's subsidiaries will still try their best to meet the needs of customers. During the suspension period, the Company's subsidiaries will have special arrangements to minimise the potential impacts to customers. These arrangements include but not limited to: their managers and engineers will work from home and have teleconference meetings as needed and their logistics department will dispatch products as planned by utilising the existing inventories.
