A year ago, we started our Top Brokerage Carriers Award recognition after creating our Carrier Rewards program in late 2019. What a couple of years we have seen since. We're thriving despite the many challenges 2020 and 2021 have presented. Our brokerage team has proven resilient in taking care of customers and growing the size and quality of our customer carrier base. When we created the XPO Carrier Rewards program two years ago, we aimed to:

  • Recognize our top carriers based on service level and volume with XPO.
  • Encourage carriers to achieve the platinum level of service our customers' demand.
  • Reward loyalty and offer other value-added services, like our extremely competitive Fuel Card Program.

    We've accomplished all of that - and more:

  • Our first reward was redeemed on Sept. 5, 2019. Since then, 5,000 carriers have redeemed over 15,000 rewards through XPO Connect.
  • Last year, we celebrated the Drive XPO app reaching 150,000 downloads. As of today, it has been downloaded more than half a million times.
  • Service has improved significantly: our overall carrier scores increased by 700 basis points in two years. We also have 500 more Platinum carriers than when we started.
  • We've added meaningful value-added services for our carriers. We converted from an annual to a quarterly reward recognition program. Our Silver, Gold and Platinum carriers are now eligible for discounts on truck maintenance and tires at TA Truck Service locations. As diesel fuel prices have risen more than 35% year-over-year, our Fuel Card Program carriers have saved more than $8 million in August 2021 alone.
