XXL ASA announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was NOK 2,420 million compared to NOK 2,865 million a year ago. Operating income was NOK 202 million compared to NOK 222 million a year ago. Net income was NOK 159 million compared to NOK 133 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was NOK 0.63 compared to NOK 0.66 a year ago. For the half year, sales was NOK 4,587 million compared to NOK 5,027 million a year ago. Operating income was NOK 218 million compared to NOK 7 million a year ago. Net income was NOK 121 million compared to net loss of NOK 53 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was NOK 0.48 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of NOK 0.29 a year ago.
