SCHIPHOL, Netherlands (AP) _ Yandex NV (YNDX) on Wednesday reported a loss of $171.5 million in its first quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Schiphol, Netherlands-based company said it had a loss of 47 cents. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 26 cents per share.

The Russian search engine posted revenue of $1.26 billion in the period.
