JIRA's statement on the reasons for YASKAWA's selection is as follows:
Top management and CFO are active in IR and have a strong ability to disseminate information. Also, members of the IR department are familiar with the business strategy and can have a dialogue to help understand the company. They also try to provide information of high interest for investors in an accurate and easy-to-understand manner.Even under COVID-19 pandemic, the quality of the company's IR activities has not been degraded. Rather, the level of its IR has been improved by the activities, such as explaining in detail the business in China that investors are interested in. Moreover, they are focusing on activities using online tools, for example virtual factory tours.
Yaskawa believes that it is important to promote constructive dialogue with shareholders and investors in order to achieve sustainable growth and increase corporate value over the medium to long term. We will continue to expand opportunities for dialogue with institutional investors, analysts, and other stakeholders and information disclosure. Also, by disclosing important information such as financial results in an easy-to-understand, accurate, timely and appropriate manner, we will strive to deepen our stakeholders' understanding of Yaskawa.
