YIT and the City of Helsinki have signed an agreement on the construction of HITAS, right of residence and rental apartments as well as a parking garage in the developing neighbourhood of Sompasaari near Kalasatama. The total value of the package is nearly EUR 58 million, which will be recognised in the order book of the second quarter.

The agreement comprises three housing companies with a total of 238 apartments as well as a single-level parking garage under the yard deck.

Construction will begin in June 2021 and the project is estimated to be completed in early 2024.
