Carsome Sdn. Bhd. announced that it has received $290 million in funding from a group of investors

Carsome Sdn. Bhd announced that it has raised $290 million in funding co led by 65 Equity Partners Holdings Pte. Ltd., Seatown Private Capital Master Fund, and Qatar Investment Authority on January 10, 2022.

The transaction included also participation from MediaTek Ventures, Sunway Ventures, Gokongwei Group, YTL Corporation Berhad, and Taiwan Mobile Co., Ltd. The company issued convertible notes for $80 million in the round of funding. The company round raised at post-money valuation of $1,700 million.
