CHANGE OF BOOK CLOSE PERIOD

IN RELATION TO THE INTERIM DIVIDEND

Reference is made to: (1) the announcement of 2019 interim results of Yuexiu Property Company Limited (the "Company") dated 13 August 2019 (the "Interim Results Announcement"); (2) the interim report of the Company published on 25 September 2019 (the "Interim Report"); (3) the circular of the Company dated 27 September 2019 in relation to, among others, major and connected transactions in relation to the acquisitions of 51% interest in two new metro property projects (the "Acquisitions Circular"); and (4) the circular of the Company dated 27 September 2019 in relation to, among others, continuing connected transactions and major transaction in relation to bank deposits (the "CCT Circular", and together with the Acquisitions Circular, the "Circulars"), respectively. Unless otherwise defined herein, capitalized terms used in this announcement shall have the same meaning as those defined in the Circulars.

Since the register of members of the Company (the "Register of Members") for determining Shareholders' entitlement to attend and vote at the general meeting in relation to the Acquisitions (the "Acquisitions GM") and the general meeting in relation to the 2020 Bank Deposits Agreement (the "CCT GM") will be closed from Friday, 18 October 2019 to Tuesday, 22 October 2019 (both days inclusive), respectively, as disclosed in the Circulars, the book close period of the Register of Members for determining Shareholders' entitlement to the interim dividend will be revised to align as follows:

No transfer of shares will be registered during the period from Friday, 18 October 2019 to Thursday, 24 October 2019 (both days inclusive). In order to qualify for the interim dividend, all properly completed transfer forms accompanied by the relevant Share certificates must be lodged with the Company's share registrar, Tricor Abacus Limited, at Level 54, Hopewell Centre, 183 Queen's Road East, Hong Kong, for registration by no later than 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, 17 October 2019.

Please note that (i) other information (including the date on which the interim dividend will be paid) in the Interim Results Announcement and the Interim Report and (ii) the book close period for determining entitlement to attend and vote at the Acquisitions GM and the CCT GM, respectively, remain unchanged.
