Yukiguni Maitake Co., Ltd. announces consolidated and non-consolidated earnings results for the year ended March 31, 2021. For the period, on consolidated basis, the company reported total income of JPY 51,380 million against JPY 50,759 million a year ago. Operating profit was JPY 7,823 million against JPY 6,691 million a year ago. Profit was JPY 4,740 million against JPY 4,344 million a year ago. Profit attributable to owners of parent was JPY 4,744 million against JPY 4,346 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was JPY 119.03 against JPY 119.07 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was JPY 119.00 against JPY 108.98 a year ago.
For the period, on non-consolidated basis, the company reported net sales of JPY 32,013, operating profit was JPY 6,277 million against operating loss of JPY 16 million a year ago. Profit was JPY 8,911 million against loss of JPY 17 million. Basic earnings per share was JPY 223.60 against loss of JPY 0.43 and diluted earnings per share was JPY 223.54.
Yukiguni Maitake Co Ltd is mainly engaged in the production and sale of mushrooms, including maitake mushroom, eringi mushroom, hypsizygus marmoreus, hon-shimeji, lyophyllum decastes, mushrooms and others, as well as processed mushroom foods. The Company operates Mushroom segment and Others segment. The Mushroom segment produces and sells mushrooms, such as maitake mushroom, eringi mushroom, hypsizygus marmoreus, hon-shimeji, lyophyllum decastes, mushrooms and other products using independently developed industrial production method. The Others segment conducts the manufacturing and sale of health foods, the operation of restaurants and product halls, and the manufacturing and sale of medium activators.
