Greg Creed, former Yum Brands CEO, is joining Thanx, a loyalty and guest engagement platform, as an advisor for the CEO and board, according to a press release.

Creed brings 40 years of experience in marketing and operations with leading restaurant and consumer packaged good brands. Among the highlights of his 25-year tenure at Yum Brands, Creed led Taco Bell through innovative marketing campaigns such as "Think Outside the Bun" and launched category-defining products like the Doritos Locos Taco.

"The digitization of restaurants and recent trends in third-party delivery have brought massive change to the industry," Creed said in the release.
