With more than ten years of experience in sales and marketing, Daniel Gwercher will be a key contributor to Zaptec Germany's growth and lead the German subsidiary starting 1 November 2022. His view on sustainable strategies fits perfectly with the corporate culture, as Zaptec will play a key role in shaping the change toward sustainable mobility in Germany.

Munich. 9 November 2022. Zaptec, the leading Norwegian charging stations provider, announces that Daniel Gwercher will join Zaptec Germany as Managing Director effective immediately. In his role, he will further establish Zaptec as a driver of innovation in sustainable mobility and a leading provider of electric vehicle charging systems in Germany. He can build on Zaptec's know-how in the process. Norway is a pioneering country for electromobility and is almost 6 years ahead of its European neighbors. This innovation and progress will form the basis for the local strategy.

Daniel Gwercher started his career in consumer electronics at Polaroid where he spent 8 years working in sales and marketing and held various positions, the most recent being Country Manager for DACH & Benelux. After a stint at the company Delivery Hero, he joined the electric mobility sector at Wallbox and discovered his passion for sustainability and mobility as Regional Manager DACH. With his sales and marketing expertise, he has succeeded in building markets and teams with a goal-oriented mindset. During his career, he has worked in Austria, the United States, Spain and Germany. He is now looking forward to joining the German Zaptec subsidiary in Munich as Managing Director of Germany, which also operates in the Austrian market.

In his new role, Daniel Gwercher will support company growth and develop an e-mobility ecosystem with products made in Germany. As part of its production strategy, Zaptec focuses on cooperation that contribute to an electrified and sustainable future. The Norwegian company is aware of the Germany's high standards for quality and efficiency and therefore focuses on products made in Germany. Zaptec recently signed its partnership with Sanmina Corporation, one of the largest global electronics manufacturers with a production facility in Germany, perfectly located to support Zaptec's planned growth in the country and Europe.
