Zhewen Pictures Group co.,ltd announced earnings results for the half year ended June 30, 2021. For the half year, the company announced sales was CNY 1,344.556 million compared to CNY 592.336 million a year ago. Operating income was CNY 73.495 million compared to operating loss of CNY 1,042.925 million a year ago. Net income was CNY 41.696 million compared to net loss of CNY 1,023.004 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was CNY 0.05 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of CNY 1.15 a year ago.
Zhewen Pictures Group Co Ltd, formerly Jiangsu Lugang Culture Co Ltd, is principally engaged in the manufacture and distribution of knitted woolen yarns and worsted woolen fabrics. The Company primarily provides worsted yarns, semi-worsted yarns and worsted woolen fabrics. Its products are applied in the manufacture of shirts, suits and others. The Company is also engaged in the production and distribution of traditional television (TV) series, the investment and distribution of movies, as well as the development, production and distribution of new media products such as network dramas. Through its subsidiaries, the Company also engages in hotel business. The Company conducts its businesses in domestic and overseas markets.
